TEMPLATE FOR WOOZY BOTTLE LABELS (CH-W533)
INSTRUCTIONS:
ALWAYS TEST ON A PLAIN WHITE PAPER FIRST!
1. First, print onto plain white paper then holds up to the light against a sheet of labels to check that your design is roughly aligned. Adjust your printer and design if necessary.
2. Download your free templates below
If you are using MS Word, here are a few sample labels:
3. Open the template with the corresponding application.
Note that each physical label measures 2.25” wide by 3” tall and that the label area on the template is slightly larger: 2.35“ wide by 3.1” tall. This difference in size (known as a bleed) ensures that your image will be printed over the entire label.
4. Insert your background image, pattern, or picture over the label area. Make sure your image is centered both vertically and horizontally over the label area.
5. Type in or insert your brand/logo, product title, subtitle, and any other text or graphics you require.
Here’s an example:
Design with tolerance:
Printers have an accuracy of approximately 1mm in the vertical and horizontal, and the paper can also rotate slightly as it goes through the printer. You need to take this into account when you design your labels. If possible, avoid designing labels with a border around them because any inaccuracy will be visible.
Identify sheet size:
This blank label size is US Letter Size (215.9mm x 279.4mm). Make sure the printer options are set to the correct paper size.
Print Ration setting:
Make sure your print options are set to ‘Actual Size ‘or 1:1 ratio. If there is a “Fit to Page” in the Print Dialog, or any kind of setting that stretches the image. Switch it Off.
Be Patient:
The Print and the labels do not usually line up exactly when you first print them and fine adjustments are often needed. This is because every printer is slightly different, and reacts differently to the software in use.
This Blank Label (CH-W533) is compatible with Avery (22809, 22819, 22925, 41491) and you can use Avery online label design tools if you like.
